Never satisfied……………..

I am never satisfied with my car. :( …sucks huh!?

I like my setup now..looks clean, but I want something aggressive. I am going to install the ASM Carbon Canards and ASM 07 Carbon Lip so see if this satisfies my eyes.

Kics R40 Lug Nuts

I just took off my Blue J’s Racing Lug Nuts in favor of the Kics R40. I like the extended lugs better and they match the color of my wheels. These lugs are very light and high quality and I would recommend them to anyone running Aftermarket wheels.

One of the cool features about these lug nuts is the key that it comes with. The only way to unlock these lug nuts is with that key to the right. They also sell a set with lock nuts, which adds a bit more protection.

Bad Clutch Line

My friend recently got his ACT street clutch installed and after installation I got to drive it around for a bit and it is much stiffer than the OEM AP2 clutch (which BTW is very very soft). Anyways I was just told that the clutch went soft which is very strange. He replaced the Master and Slave cylinder not too long ago so I am sure we can rule that out. The only thing I can think of is a bad clutch line. The reason why I say clutch line is because my OEM clutch is softer than what it should be and this was after 2 months of NOT driving the car. I just got in the car one day and BOOM the clutch was soft.

I really hate spending money on Sh!t that should be warranty replaced by Honda, but since I plan on keeping the S2000 for while I might go with the ASM Clutch line (Total facking waste of money) but whatever…..hahaha

IRIS

I usually don’t watch TV….actually I never watch TV but I highly recommend watching IRIS Korean Drama series…pretty good stuff. I of course don’t understand Korean so I watched the version with subtitles. After watching this drama it made me want to learn how to speak Korean, so I am taking the Rosetta Stone course and I plan on using it everyday for the next 6 months….

I feel my ASM bumper looks a bit boring. :( It really needs something to liven it up and make it more aggresive. The bumper looks very clean, dont get me wrong but it just looks way to OEM. For some people that is fine but for me I didn’t spend 1400.00 to look OEM.

I found some pics of the ASM front bumper with ASM Carbon canards and the 07 Carbon Lip. I am contemplating whether or not to run this setup. It looks good, but very very aggresive. I think it would look good without the canards as well.

Mugen S2000

I wish I setup my car this way. Simple and utilized the OEM front and rear bumper.

I just picked up the ARC Titanium Shift Knob (Polished Version). I had the original ARC Titanium shift knob which had a flat finish and I actually like this one better. This is is ‘Polished and it has more of a ‘bling’ look. I also have the CTR Shift knob as well and I have to say the CTR Shift Knob is better for shifting and has a more traditional look with the numbers engraved into the shift knob but the ARC simply looks cooler. I plan on just keeping both for the heck of it.

The interior of my car actually looks pretty dull and boring. I want to add an ASM Shift Boot, Hand Brake, Carpet and door panel but am still unsure if I want to spend 1,000 on comfort accessories. I have always felt a true sports car did not need any comfort accessories like GPS, Radio and leather seats, etc….

ASM S2000…….kind of

Thanks to Tommy and Aaron at GoTuning, ASM Whores, Rob (s2kologist), Eddie (my very good friend) and all the SoCal and IE guys! The build would not have been accomplished without their inspiration and support. I still have a long way to go.

Plans:

- ASM 07 Carbon Lip

- Mugen CF Hardtop if I can find one for a good deal. If not I can settle for FRP and paint the top blue and sides Berlina Black.

- ASM GT Rear Wing (Not really sure yet since I am not a very big fan on ‘wings’) Maybe a duckbill would better suit me.

I would like to stick with the stock body lines at the moment. If I ever decide to go semi wide body, I would probably get the ASM GT3 rear with overfenders and ASM front fenders, but I don’t see this happening anytime soon.

AMUSE Titanium Header

I was in complete AWE when I saw this header from AMUSE. I very rarely get impressed, but when I saw the construction on this header, I was very impressed. AMUSE serisouly did a great job on this header! The welds are amazing and the quality (judging by pictures) looks like nothing short of PERFECTION!

I’d have to say AMUSE>ASM. This is by far the best Header I have ever seen….just simply AMAZING.
Of course the cost is going to be much higher so its not really fair to compare it to ASM. I bet ASM is going to come out with a Titanium header too…but at double the price of this AMUSE header…..

I want to go AMUSE widebody, but seriously if I did that, I would want to go FI. A fast looking car needs to be FAST. The S in NA form is slower than my Kia Rio.:D
